Love this desk, standing while working for a portion of the day is so key to our health. Perfect corner desk, love the storage space and raised platforms for monitors. Very easy to set shortcuts for different heights.Recommend: set up your computer while it is at full height, so that you know cables won't snag.
Have had it for a few years now and it has stood up strong. A pain to put together yourself for sure. It loses a star for some screw holes not being perfect. If you favor arm mounts, you will be limited to the version with no shelves (or creative rigging). While moving it is straight forward, I would end up selling it vs disassembling it, if moving homes.100% recommend having tools that can get into awkward/tight places. The allen wrench, screwdriver and wrench provided can get the job done, but it will not be comfortable tools to use.
READ BEFORE ASSEMBLY!Following the first set of instructions to put the short side on the left, will lead to taking it all apart again. The two "wings" only have holes for the dowels in one side, which means if you flip it to put the short side on the left, once you get it upright and try to attach the top raised section the that monitors go on, the mounting holes will be on the FRONT of the desk, everywhere except actual corner section. I started to wonder when mounting the height adjustment electronics when the pre-drilled holes for that were on the back of the desk.So NO, you can't really have the short side on the left as the first half of the instructions suggest. Unless you like filling holes with putty, repainting, and re-drilling new holes, of course. There are a couple places for stability that it appears to be missing some pre-drilled guide screw holes, since I had already drilled new holes on the underside to accommodate the botched short size, so I drilled new ones for the brace between the legs just to make it extra secure.ALSO, note that if you use the caster wheels, your desk will sit about 2.75 inches higher than the listed minimum height - I am short, 5'5" and that made it too high to comfortably use a mouse and keyboard - so since I had to take majority of it apart anyway, I put the standard flat floor pegs back on - the height is much better for ME.I will now go finish the top part of the desk, and amend my review as needed. For reference, this is the white RGB Light Strip version without the cloth "drawers."
A little time consuming to put together but it looks great and is holding up well with moderate use. The method to hold up the power cord and unti under the desk needs to be reconfigured to be a little sturdier. The tape isnt strong enough. Could use an under the desk shelf too.
This is a long assembly job. Prepare yourself. Also, you are assembling it upside down and backwards so determining where the longer side of the "L" shaped desk is going is hard to get right. I assembled two of these. The second one was a little easier. I have been using it for a couple weeks now. I love standing at work as opposed to sitting. It is not high quality furniture like my last desk that was Herman Miller. But it is functionally ok. At full price I think it a little overpriced. I did appreciate that this desk has wheels and can be moved. So far no serious complaints though. I would like to add, I needed to contact customer support and they do offer great customer support. When you're buying an item that costs this much it's always god to know they are there to answer questions and that they respond.
