The service
What we provide
Desk Doctor provides educational content about workstation ergonomics and a free self-guided assessment that produces a personalised report.
The assessment is an educational tool, not a medical device and not a clinical examination. It applies published anthropometric standards to answers you supply. It cannot examine you, observe your workstation, or diagnose a medical condition. That limit is part of these terms.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will try to give notice of material changes but are not obliged to.
Your part
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, copy or republish our content, scores or rankings without written permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the assessment or its infrastructure
- Submit false information in a way designed to distort the assessment or our data
- Use automated systems to access the site other than ordinary search engine crawling
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. The report is only as good as the measurements you give it.

Intellectual property
All content on this site — articles, images, the assessment, its scoring logic, and the DEAS standard including its rubric, dimensions and weightings — is owned by Desk Doctor and protected by copyright.
You may read, print and share links for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote briefly with attribution and a link. You may not reproduce the DEAS methodology, republish our scores, or use our content to train commercial models without written permission.
Product names, brands and trademarks are the property of their owners. Their appearance here is not an endorsement by them of us.

Recommendations and third-party sites
Product recommendations are suggestions based on the published DEAS standard and the information you provide. They are not prescriptions and they are not guarantees of suitability.
We are not the seller. Purchases are made from third-party retailers under their terms, pricing, warranty and returns policies. We are not responsible for the products, their availability, their accuracy of listing, or your transaction.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Desk Doctor and AJ Prince are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site, the assessment, or any product purchased through a link here.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us — which, for a free service, is nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.
